SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge has overruled most of Wright Medical Group’s (NYSE: WMGI) objections to expert testimony relied on by a Profemur hip implant plaintiff but has reserved judgment on testimony regarding the adequacy of warning documents.
Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, who has scheduled trial to begin April 1, filed the order Feb. 27, memorializing decisions made at a Jan. 15 Daubert hearing.
Wright Medical, which has moved for summary judgment Dec. 12, sought to preclude or limit testimony by plaintiffs’ treating surgeon, Kevin Bozic, M.D., …
