WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two plaintiffs suing Biomet Orthopedics LLC for alleged injuries from Biomet M2a Magnum hip implants have asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to consider locating a coordinated proceeding in New Orleans, rather than New York or California. In re: Biomet M2a Magnum Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2391 (JPML).
Lana Turner and Vincent Pizzitolo submitted their response to the JPML on July 19, noting that they do not otherwise oppose the transfer of Biomet cases to an MDL.
