Court Rejects Wright Medical’s Insistence on Limiting Expert Discovery

PEORIA, Ill. — A federal court said it found no basis for Wright Medical Group’s (NYSE: WMGI) resistance to providing more than four years of reports from its experts and ordered the company to produce reports dating to 2006, when the litigation began.

That was one of several rulings made by Magistrate Judge John A. Gorman Feb. 21 to resolve discovery disputes in a Wright Profemur hip case pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
