Stryker Rejuvenate Hip Plaintiff Asks JPML to Coordinate Cases in Minnesota

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A plaintiff who has already filed a federal court complaint in Minnesota against Stryker Orthopaedics (NYSE: SYK) over alleged defects in his hip implant has moved for coordination of all federal cases involving Rejuvenate or ABG II hip implants in a multidistrict proceeding in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Robert Davis submitted the motion to the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation Feb. 19, saying that 10 of approximately 30 Stryker Rejuvenate cases pending in federal courts have been filed in Minnesota.
