Plaintiffs in Withdrawn Md. Hip Implant Case Re-File in DePuy ASR MDL

TOLEDO, Ohio — Three hip implant plaintiffs who withdrew their claims against DePuy (NYSE: JNJ) as a Maryland state court trial was getting underway in January have filed new individual complaints in the federal ASR Hip MDL.

Short-form complaints were filed in the multidistrict proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio Jan. 30 on behalf of Moira Jackson, Robert O’Bryhim and Kathryn Rassier, who initially pursued claims against DePuy Inc. affiliates and a local distributor in the Prince George’s County (Md.) Circuit Court.
