DePuy Favors 2nd Camera on Counsel in Videotaped Pinnacle MDL Depositions

DALLAS — DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. (NYSE: JNJ) has submitted a statement in support of using a second camera to videotape questioning counsel in depositions of witnesses in the Pinnacle hip implant MDL, noting that the practice has been used in other mass tort proceedings, including the ASR hip implant litigation.
DePuy submitted its opinion on the matter to Judge James “Ed” Kinkeade in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Jan. 17.
