BOSTON — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has coordinated and transferred all federal cases against New England Compounding Pharmacy to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts for coordinated or consolidated pretrial proceedings.
In a Feb. 12 order, the JPML explained centralization in the District of Massachusetts “will serve the convenience of the parties and witnesses and promote the just and efficient conduct of this litigation.” In an order issued the same day, the District Court consented to the assignment of the cases to Judge Dennis Saylor IV.
