Alaven Granted Summary Judgment in Texas Reglan Injury Case

LUFKIN, Texas – A Texas federal judge has ruled that Alaven Pharmaceuticals Inc. is not liable for failure-to-warn claims brought in a Reglan case, finding no evidence that Alaven manufactured the drug the plaintiff ingested.

On Feb. 4, Judge Marcia A. Crone of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas adopted Magistrate Judge Judith K. Guthrie’s recommendation that the drug maker’s motion for summary judgment be granted.
