TRENTON, N.J. - A Plavix plaintiff failed to present sufficient expert testimony supporting her Illinois state law claim that the drug’s warning label was inadequate, a federal judge has ruled, granting the drug makers summary judgment.
On Jan. 11, Judge Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey found the expert report did not address whether the label adequately warned doctors of the risk of dual therapy-induced bleeding.
