Stryker, Fla. Plaintiff Name Mediator for Court-Ordered Sessions in Rejuvenate Hip Case

MIAMI — Lawyers for Connie Piccinonna and Howmedica Osteonics Corp. (NYSE: SYK)have notified a federal court that they have selected a local lawyer to preside over mandatory mediation of Piccinonna’s claims arising from the alleged failure of her Rejuvenate hip system implant.

The parties said Jan. 18 that they have selected Lewis Jack of The Josephs Law Firm in Coral Gables, Fla., to act as mediator in the action pending before Judge Marcia G. Cooke in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
