Parties Stipulate to Amended Protective Order in Wright Medical Hip Cases

ATLANTA — Parties to the coordinated Wright Medical (NYSE: WMGI) Conserve hip implant litigation have agreed on an amended protective order that was signed by U.S. District Judge William S. Duffey Jan. 28.

The 24-page order filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia is essentially the same as the one entered May 3, 2012, after the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation ordered the Wright Medical cases assigned to Judge Duffey.

The order limits disclosure of any documents designated as confidential or protected to counsel, staff, witness, or others connected to the litigation. “Protected Documents” are …
