BALTIMORE — A Maryland federal judge has dismissed a manufacturing defect claim against Abbott Laboratories Inc. (NYSE: ABT) in a Humira case, finding it was not pleaded with the requisite specificity.
On Jan. 16, Judge James K. Bredar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland also dismissed a claim for violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act, finding it does not meet the act’s causation standard.
