SAN FRANCISCO — An Alabama man has sued Howmedica Osteonics Corp. (NYSE: SYK) in San Francisco Superior Court, alleging that Stryker Rejuvenate components he received in each hip in 2011 were defective.
Plaintiff Laray Johnson filed his action Dec. 6, alleging that Howmedica and business affiliates Stryker Orthopaedics, Stryker Corp. and Stryker Sales Corp. failed to adequately design, manufacture or test components of their Rejuvenate System, including ABG II Modular stems, ABG II Modular necks and Rejuvenate Modular Neck and Stem components.
Johnson also asserts claims against unnamed “Does 1-100.”
