TRENTON, N.J. — A New Jersey federal judge has dismissed a case in which a man accused the makers of Plavix of failing to adequately warn that the anti-coagulant, when taken with aspirin, could cause serious bleeding.
On Jan. 3, Judge Freda Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey found the studies relied upon by the plaintiff are unrelated to his personal circumstances and fail to link his injury to the allegedly inadequate warnings.
