DePuy Pinnacle MDL Moves Past 800 Cases with Latest Transfers

DALLAS — The latest transfers to the DePuy (NYSE: JNJ) Pinnacle Hip Implant multidistrict proceedings have brought that MDL above 800 cases, according to the most recent order from the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.

The JPML’s Conditional Transfer Order No. 109 filed Dec. 18 notes that the nine tag-along actions listed would join the 799 cases already added to MDL No. 2244 since it was assigned to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in May 2011.
