Calif. Parties Ask for Leave to Add Counsel for Upcoming DePuy ASR Hip Trial

SAN FRANCISCO — Parties to a scheduled Jan. 22 DePuy (NYSE: JNJ) ASR hip implant trial have asked the San Francisco Superior Court to allow additional counsel for pre-trial and trial purposes.

Counsel for plaintiffs Loren and Sheryl Kransky and the DePuy and Johnson and Johnson defendants filed the stipulation Dec. 4, asking that several additional attorneys be admitted as counsel pro hac vice for plaintiffs and defendants.

The newly named counsel include Michael C. Zogby of Drinker Biddle & Reath in Florham Park, N.J.; Kim E. Moore of Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore in New Orleans; John Q. …
