Calif. Judge Signs Off on Discovery Schedule for DePuy ASR Case Set for January Trial

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard A. Kramer has signed an order setting an opening trial date of Jan. 13 and providing a firm pre-trial schedule in what is expected to be the first of the coordinated California DePuy ASR hip implant cases to go to trial.

The Nov. 5 Scheduling Order follows a September ruling by Judge Kramer in which he granted Loren Kransky’s motion for an expedited trial schedule for health reasons, and ordered the case sent to Judge Carolyn Kuhl Los Angeles Superior Court, the originating court for trial.
