Zimmer Says Plaintiff Seeking Class Status Didn’t Receive NexGen Flex Knee Components

CHICAGO — Zimmer Inc. (NYSE: ZMH) said in a reply brief in support of its motion to dismiss class allegations in the NexGen Knee Implant coordinated proceedings that the plaintiff that brought that claim wasn’t implanted with NexGen Flex components and her case should be transferred out of the MDL.

Zimmer also said in its Nov. 5 filing that defendants would soon file a motion for suggestion of remand if the court did not dismiss the case on its own.
