Federal Judge Finds Wright Profemur Claims Lacking, But Allows Plaintiffs to Amend

SEATTLE — A federal judge in Washington state has dismissed some claims in a lawsuit alleging defects in a Wright Medical Technology (NYSE: WMGI) Profemur™ hip system, but declined to dismiss the suit altogether and gave plaintiffs until Nov. 2 to file an amended action.
Judge Ronald B. Leighton of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington agreed with Wright that Daniel and Diana Force failed to offer sufficient factual support for their defect claims.
