Wright Medical MDL Judge Agrees to ‘Significant Extension of Discovery’

ATLANTA — U.S. District Judge William S. Duffey has agreed to new discovery deadlines proposed by the parties to the coordinated Wright Medical (NYSE: WMGI) Conserve hip implant proceedings, but warned that he would not grant further extensions.

The Oct. 16 order amends the discovery schedule filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia July 11, in which the court anticipated the close of expert discovery — the final item — by April 26, 2013.
