Biomet MDL Judge Schedules 1st Conference, Appoints Interim Liaison Counsel

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — U.S. District Judge Robert L. Miller Jr. has scheduled the first status conference for Nov. 16 in the newly coordinated Biomet M2a Magnum hip implant proceedings, and stayed all discovery in the transferred cases until he can issue a scheduling order.

Judge Miller was assigned to handle all cases transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana in MDL 2391 pursuant to an Oct. 2 order by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.
