MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota woman has brought a class action against a Massachusetts compounding pharmacy, accusing it of negligently shipping more than 17,000 vials of a steroid contaminated with fungal meningitis to clinics around the United States.
The plaintiff, who has not contracted meningitis, is suing New England Compounding Pharmacy Inc. on behalf of herself and other Minnesota residents who allegedly suffered bodily harm, emotional distress, and other personal injuries after being injected with the steroid.
