Federal Court Dismisses 2 Zimmer NexGen Cases for Lack of Diversity Jurisdiction

DALLAS — A federal judge in Texas has sua sponte dismissed two recently filed cases in which plaintiffs allege the failure of their Zimmer (NYSE: ZMH) NexGen knee implants, concluding that the court doesn’t have jurisdiction because each plaintiff shares Texas residency or citizenship with a defendant.
Judge Sam A.
