DePuy Moves to Quash Subpoena of Gibson Dunn Attorney in ASR Hip Implant MDL

TOLEDO, Ohio — Defendants in the DePuy (NYSE:JNJ) ASR hip implant MDL have filed a motion under seal to quash subpoenas issued to the Gibson Dunn & Crutcher law firm and attorney Debra Wong Yang, saying its arguments and accompanying exhibits include confidential information.

Judge David A. Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, who presides over the DePuy ASR hip implant docket, allowed the defendants’ motion for leave to file its motion for a protective order under seal Aug. 28.
