New Plaintiffs Ask JPML to Consider Texas as Site for Biomet Hip MDL

WASHINGTON, D.C. —The most recent filings by interested plaintiffs responding to motions to create a Biomet M2a Magnum hip implant MDL have urged the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to assign the cases to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas for pretrial proceedings.
The September responders have all requested that the JPML consider assigning the Biomet metal-on-metal hip implant products cases to Southern District of Texas Judge Lee Rosenthal.
