DePuy Pinnacle MDL Court Refers All Remand Motions to Special Master

DALLAS — U.S. District Judge James “Ed” Kinkeade has referred all pending and future remand motions in the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant MDL to Special Master James M. Stanton for an initial report and recommendation in each case.

Judge Kinkeade, who presides over the coordinated Pinnacle hip implant proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, said in his Aug. 14 order that recommendations will be issued promptly on pending motions.
