MDL Court Orders Wright Medical to Comply With Profemur Neck Discovery Requests

ATLANTA — The federal judge overseeing the coordinated Wright Medical Technology (NYSE: WMGI) hip implant proceedings has ordered the company to comply with discovery requests for design and manufacturing information for its flexible PROFEMUR neck product.

Judge William S. Duffey, who oversees the Wright Medical Conserve Hip Implant MDL in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, issued the discovery order Sept. 5 after the parties failed to agree on the scope of discovery for components of Wright’s Conserve implant system.
