MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Tennessee federal judge has dismissed all claims brought against brand name Reglan makers in a metoclopramide injury case, ruling that they cannot be held liable under the Tennessee Products Liability Act because they did not manufacture the drugs at issue.
Judge S. Thomas Anderson of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee ruled that plaintiffs have no cause of action against the brand name defendants because they never took Reglan itself, only generic metoclopramide.
