Nevada Plaintiffs Withdraw Motion to Void Confidentiality Agreement

LAS VEGAS — Nevada hip implant plaintiffs who alleged last week that inaccurate details of their settlement with Johnson & Johnson and DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. had been leaked by the defendants have withdrawn a motion to void the agreement’s confidentiality provision that would have allowed them to comment further.

Counsel would not give a reason for the withdrawal, repeating earlier statements that all claims have been resolved.

Counsel for both sides were to meet Aug. 28 to provide a settlement status report to newly assigned Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen E. Delaney.
