Calif. Court to Hear NexGen Plaintiff’s Motion to Remand

SAN FRANCICO — The presiding judge in the Zimmer NexGen knee implant MDL has ordered a plaintiff’s motion to remand removed from the coordinated docket, saying the motion is being presented to a federal judge in California.

Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer, who oversees the Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, ordered the motion terminated Aug. 21, a day after a copy was filed with the MDL by plaintiffs Jesus and Helen Tacorda.
