COLUMBUS, Ohio — Biomet Orthopedics LLC is opposing a stay sought by an Ohio plaintiff pending a decision on the creation of a coordinated federal court proceeding, arguing that any discovery delay could prejudice the implant manufacturer. Ward-Davis, et al. v. Biomet Orthopedics LLC, et al., No. 2:12-cv-00396-NMK (S.D. Ohio).

Biomet filed its response July 26 the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in opposition to a July 5 motion for stay sought by plaintiffs Denise Ward-Davis and Donald Davis in a M2a Magnum product liability case.
