BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — An Alabama federal judge has ruled that the July 1, 2009, Chantix black box warning is adequate as a matter of law to warn of the risk of neuropsychiatric complications in patients taking the smoking cessation drug. In re Chantix (varenicline) Products Liability Litigation, No. 2:09-2039 (N.D. Ala.).
