LOS ANGELES - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has taken note of a recent remand order by a federal judge in California and vacated its own conditional transfer of a Pinnacle implant case to the MDL in Texas. Colee v. DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., et al., No. 12-cv-3447-PA (C.D. Calif.).
Plaintiffs' counsel alerted the JPML May 9 to Judge Percy Anderson's recent decision in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, where John P. Colee's case has been pending since it was removed on diversity grounds.
