Court Appoints Lead Counsel in Wright Medical Hip MDL

ATLANTA - The presiding judge in the Wright Medical hip implant multidistrict proceedings has appointed California and Georgia firms as interim lead and liaison counsel for plaintiffs. In re: Wright Medical Technology, Inc., Conserve Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2329 (N.D. Ga.).

Judge William S. Duffey Jr. made the one-year appointments May 3, and directing that appointees apply before May 1 each year for reappointment.
