SAN FRANCISCO - A California federal judge has refused Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp's request to stay a Zometa injury case pending the outcome of several earlier-filed cases that are advancing to trial, ruling that the drug maker has failed to show how the development of these other cases will assist in the resolution of this action.
