JPML Consolidates, Transfers Zoloft Actions to Pa. Federal Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has transferred 57 federal Zoloft injury actions to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for consolidated pretrial proceedings. In re Zoloft Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2342 (JPML).

In an April 17 order, the panel assigned Judge Cynthia Rufe to oversee the proceedings, explaining that she "is an experienced transferee judge with the willingness and ability to handle this litigation."
