Crestor Makers Concealed Life-Threatening Risks, New Complaint Says

SAN DIEGO - Several California residents are accusing the makers of Crestor of failing to warn doctors and the public of serious risks posed by the cholesterol-lowering drug, including heart attacks, kidney damage and diabetes. Norris, et al. v. AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, et al., No. 3:12-836 (S.D. Calif.).

The complaint, originally filed against AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP and McKesson Corp. in the Imperial County (Calif.) Superior Court, was removed to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California on April 5.
