Actos MDL Judge Appoints La. Attorney as Special Master

ALEXANDRIA, La. - A federal judge has appointed Louisiana attorney Gary J. Russo as special master in the Actos multidistrict litigation. In re Actos Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2299 (W.D. La.).
In a March 16 order, Judge Rebecca F. Doherty of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana also appointed Louisiana attorneys Carmen M. Rodriguez as deputy special master and Kenneth W. DeJean as deputy special master, plaintiffs' side only.
