Calif. Cases Included in Latest Transfers to DePuy Pinnacle MDL

DALLAS - The latest transfers to the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant MDL bring that consolidated proceeding's case total to 1,158, including several recent filings from federal courts in California, which is considering its own coordinated state proceedings. In re: DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. Pinnacle Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, No. 3:11-md-02244-K (N.D. Texas).

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas filed an updated Master Case List of 1,143 cases on April 2, which was augmented a day later by 15 cases from the latest conditional transfer order from the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.
