ATLANTA - Counsel for plaintiffs in seven cases transferred to the newly minted Wright Medical hip implant MDL have asked the presiding judge to stay motions to dismiss filed by Wright in individual cases. In re: Wright Medical Technology, Inc., Conserve Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2329 [Master Docket No. 1:12-md-2329] (N.D. Ga.).
Plaintiffs' counsel filed the motion in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia March 8, saying that defense counsel was approached about submitting a joint motion for stay, but declined.
