JPML Separates Pinnacle Hip Implant Claims from Transferred Wright Medical Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has conditionally transferred a California hip implant case to the newly created Wright Medical Technology MDL in Georgia, but separated and assigned DePuy Pinnacle claims in the same lawsuit to the Pinnacle MDL pending in Texas. Elston v. Wright Medical Technologies, et al., No. 3:12-0134 (S.D. Calif.).
