California DePuy ASR Parties Reschedule Schmalzried's Deposition for April

SAN FRANCISCO - Counsel in the coordinated California DePuy ASR hip implant litigation have rescheduled the deposition of defendant Thomas P. Schmalzried, M.D., for April 11, 12 and 13 in Los Angeles. In re: DePuy ASR Hip System Cases, JCCP No. 4649 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).

The Cross-Notice of Deposition was filed in San Francisco County Superior Court Feb. 10 and in the federal DePuy ASR Products Liability MDL in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio Feb. 22, noting that the deposition was rescheduled from its original February date.
