Trial Judge Assigned in California Actos Coordination Proceedings

LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Jane L. Johnson has been assigned to oversee the coordinated proceedings of 22 California state court Actos injury cases. In re Coordination Proceedings, Actos Product Liability Cases, No. JCCP4696 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

In a Feb. 8 order, Presiding Judge Lee Smalley Edmon ruled that Judge Johnson "may exercise all the powers over each coordinated action of a judge of the court in which that action is pending."
