Wright Medical MDL’s 1st Case Management Order Allows for Direct Filing

ATLANTA — In contrast to a recent decision in another implant MDL, the presiding judge in the coordinated Wright Medical Conserve Hip Implant proceedings has decided to allow direct filing of complaints in the assigned court. In re: Wright Medical Technology, Inc., Conserve Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2329 (N.D. Ga.).

That ruling by Judge William S. Duffey Jr. came May 23 in Case Management Order No. 1 in the MDL pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
