Darvocet/Darvon Case Stayed Pending JPML's Decision to Transfer to MDL

SAN FRANCISCO - A California federal judge has stayed a Darvocet/Darvon injury case pending the decision of the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to transfer the case to a designated multidistrict litigation court. Freitas, et al. v. McKesson Corp., et al., No. 11-5967 (N.D. Calif.).

Chief Judge James Ware of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled that a stay would best serve the interests of judicial economy and would not prejudice plaintiffs.
