JPML Schedules Briefing in Latest Moves by DePuy ASR Plaintiffs to Avoid Transfer

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ordered two plaintiffs to submit briefs by Jan. 25 in support of their motions to vacate conditional transfer to the DePuy ASR MDL in Ohio. Dickerson v. DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., et al., No. 3:11-cv-00853 (E.D. Va.); Barnes, et al. v. DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., et al., No. 8:11-cv-02827 (M.D. Fla.).

The JPML filed separate orders but identical briefing schedules in the two cases in January, requiring DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. and other defendants to respond to plaintiffs' arguments by Feb. 15.
