WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) has created MDL No. 2299 for all federal cases alleging injury caused by the diabetes drug Actos, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting in its Drugs & Medical Devices Litigation Report. In re Actos Product Liability Litigation, No. 2299 (JPML).

Plaintiffs filed a motion in August seeking transfer of 11 cases pending in three federal district courts, as well as all subsequently filed Actos injury actions, to a single judge for pretrial proceedings.
