NexGen MDL Court Will Revisit Issue of Direct Case Filings

CHICAGO -Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer said in a recent order that she will revisit the issue of direct filing of new cases in the Zimmer NexGen MDL at the court's next status conference. In re: Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2272 [Case No. 11-cv-05468] (N.D. Ill.).

The notation was included in a Dec. 19 order memorializing decisions made at a conference on Dec. 12 in the coordinated proceedings pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
