Zimmer Asks for Protective Order for Swiss Documents Sought by Durom Cup Plaintiffs

NEWARK, N.J. - Zimmer defendants in the Durom Cup MDL have asked a federal magistrate judge to postpone a scheduled discovery conference and allow them to file a motion for a protective order for Swiss corporate documents sought by plaintiffs. In re: Zimmer Durom Hip Cup Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2158; Master Docket No. 09-4414] (D. N.J.).

The requests were included in a Dec. 13 letter to Magistrate Judge Madeline C. Arleo, who is assigned to the coordinated proceedings pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
