WASHINGTON, D.C. - A Georgia man who is suing Wright Medical Technology over alleged defects in its Conserve Hip Implant system has asked the federal Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to coordinate Wright cases in an MDL in Georgia. In re: Wright Medical Technology Inc. Conserve Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, No. 2329 (JPML).
Moving plaintiff Danny L. James Sr. filed the motion on Nov. 29, asserting that more than 200 Wright patients have reported adverse events after receiving Conserve system implants, and that a number have filed lawsuits against Wright.
